Shielding Express, Inc. is a privately held Massachusetts based U.S. Corporation with headquarters in Taunton, MA. It is a domestic and internationally recognized manufacturer of a diverse shielding product line developed to control Electromagnetic Interference and Radio Frequency Interference (EMI/RFI). Their wide range of products shield all types of enclosures, from giant Space Labs to common Lap Top Computers, to tiny electronic devices. Shielding Express, Inc. produces transparent EMI/RFI Shields and complex Optical Filters for CRT, LCD, plasma, and EL display applications including those found on touch-screen and ATM assemblies.
Shielding Express Engineering expertise is frequently applied to specialized value-added undertakings where shielding compliance issues are fulfilled while performing other secondary manufacturing steps thereby optimizing the customer’s production efficiencies.
Shielding Express, Inc. products are currently used by computer OEM’s, telephone OEM’s, instrumentation manufacturers, defense contractors, medical equipment manufacturers, and certain shielding industry distributors.
Shielding Express, Inc. is a registered supplier for the Department Of Defense and its Defense Electronics Supply Center.
Serving both the commercial and military electronics industry for over 12 years, Shielding Express, Inc. prides itself in providing innovative, high performance, top quality “Shielding” products at competitive prices with particular attention paid to responsiveness and order execution, thus the “Express” in the company name.
Shielding Express’s main offices and manufacturing facilities (shown above) are company owned and are housed in a steel and concrete structure built in 1989 and later expanded in 1995. The building sits on a two-acre industrial site and has two levels and the business currently allocates 16000 square feet to manufacturing.
The business is situated in an industrial park located approximately 45 miles south of Boston, Massachusetts (Logan Airport) and 35 miles east of Providence, Rhode Island (T.F. Green Airport).
The company charter emphasizes the application of current technology to make, test and inspect their products as well as a continuous effort to create product offerings consistent with the changing needs of the customer and then take extraordinary steps to provide and insure that the customer receives the best possible service, responsiveness and support available during the order fulfillment process.
